The Mishna in Sotah (9:15) says one of the things that happens in עקבות משיחא is יראי חטא ימאסו. The Chozeh (in Zikaron Zot) beginning of Vaeschanan brings from Rav Zusha that turns this statement on its head. He says in the times of עקבות משיחא people will be disgusted by those that only serve out of יראה and will desire a service out of אהבה.
