Trumpets And Korbanot

The Rambam Klei Mikdash (3:5) says the kohanim would blow the trumpets when offering the korbanot on holidays and Rosh Chodesh שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר "וּבְיוֹם שִׂמְחַתְכֶם וּבְמוֹעֲדֵיכֶם וּבְרָאשֵׁי חָדְשֵׁיכֶם וּתְקַעְתֶּם בַּחֲצֹצְרֹת" (במדבר י, י). In Temmidim (6:6) he says that the every day during the ניסוך יין the kohanim would blow the trumpets - is the blowing of trumpets only on holidays or every day? The Chinuch (384) raises the possbility that every day trumpets are needed but the leviem can blow them but on the holidays it is a mitzvah for kohanim. However, this does not seem to work in the Rambam for he says the kohanim blow the trumpets during the daily avodah? 

The Even Ha'ezel says that on the Rambam says the trumpets are blown on the holiday at the time of offering the korban vs. every day it is done during the ניסוך. This difference is because the ניסוך is the time to sing shirah and the trumpets are blown as part of the שירה vs. the holidays is a special law of blowing trumpets at the time of the korban itself derived from וּבְיוֹם שִׂמְחַתְכֶם וכו. 

The second law of blowing on holidays is it a law in korbanot or a separate law in honor of the day? It would seem from the fact that the Rambam connects it to the korban that it is a law in the korban. On the other hand, it is only said at the time of the korban not together with the korban perse. In the gilyon משא נחום he understands from the fact that the the Sifrey says the trumpet blasts are not מעכב the korban that it is just a law in the honor of the day. He says that is why the Sifri Zuta needs to exclude a pasul kohan from blowing the trumpets, if it is just a law in korban, why do I need a new מיעוט? However, one could argue the derasha itself tells us it is a law in the korban and that is why a pasul kohan is invalid.
